The Ong Family Foundation Sponsors a Night at the Big Apple Circus for Disadvantaged Asian Children
The Ong Family Foundation is sponsoring a night of magical moments, soaring imaginations and a celebration of wonder for disadvantaged Asian children living in the New York City area who have never attended a circus or whose families cannot afford to bring them.
In its 34th season and with an all new show called “Dream Big!” the world’s greatest circus artists will entertain under an intimate Big Top where no seat is more than 50 feet from the ring! The Ong Family Foundation, along with co-hosts the Asian American Federation and the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families, hope the circus will bring laughter and amusement to some 1,600 immigrant or lower income families and children, and help them celebrate the holidays with one of the finest live family entertainment experiences in New York City.
Tickets will be distributed to local Asian nonprofit clientele including: APEX, Chinatown Manpower Project, Chinatown YMCA, Chinese-American Planning Council (Manhattan & Queens), Chinese Methodist Center Corporation, Garden of Hope, General Human Services Organization, Hamilton-Madison House, Immigrant Social Services, Korean American Family Service Center, New York Asian Women’s Center, Sakhi for South Asian Women, South Asian Youth Action, and The Transfiguration School’s Kindergarten class.
